Cass: Week 11 already!?

No comments :
Time has definitely flown this semester and I can’t believe we have already reached the end of week 11. Soon, I’ll be going into hibernation for exams and before you know it, it’ll be summer holidays! I definitely cannot wait for it to be all over.

Thursdays are always busy for me. My classes start at 11am but I always come in at 9 to study in the library, where I do some final preparation for my classes and catch up on summary notes. From 11am, I have classes until 3.30pm. I have a Tort Law tutorial, followed by a two-hour Criminal Law lecture and finally a 1.5hour Tort Law lecture. Having so much on means that the day flies by, which is good, but this also means there isn’t much time to catch up with friends during the day. I make up for that on Tuesdays when a girlfriend and I always catch up for lunch in between classes and study. I also handed in my final assignment for the semester, which was a group assignment for Property Investment.

This means my schedule is now clear and I can focus on exam preparation. My approach is to focus on completing small tasks at a time. This makes completing notes and making summaries much more achievable. I also avoid people who are prone to stress so that I can remain calm and focused throughout the exam period. Most importantly, I like to make sure I am well rested so I can absorb new information more effectively. I definitely do not like to cram in the early hours of the morning!
