Damien: FIrst week of uni done and dusted

The last couple of days have been really busy with uni classes.

Thursday is a full day for me, with classes from 9am to 5pm straight! Luckily we get free breakfast every Thursday, which is convenient for me because it gives me all the energy I need for a big day ahead. While I thought eight hours of class would be really bad, it was actually pretty good because time didn’t go slowly.

Some of my friends have transferred to other Monash campuses closer to them, so I don't see them as much as I did last year, but I still try to keep in touch and catch up with them on a regular basis. But it's been great catching up with everyone at the Berwick campus, as there were so many funny stories to catch up on from over the holidays! I also spent this week meeting first-year students from different faculties on campus, helping some of them find lecture theatres and class rooms. It really brought back memories of when I used to walk from one end of the campus!

Whilst it was only two days, the first week of semester is officially over for me - it went very quickly! I guess you can't complain with a five- day weekend.
