Kit: Work-life balance
Now that we’re a few weeks into the semester, it’s time to put my turbo on and start working on all the assignments and course work. A lot of students tend to leave their assignments to the last minute, but I’ve been trying to avoid doing this. Once you’re forced to rush your study or assignments, the quality of your work will be greatly diminished!I think it’s really important to have good work-life balance. As an international student, I’ve tried to make the most of being in Australia. As life is more than just about work, study and grades, I’ve grown a lot just by seeing different parts of Australia and travelling to places that I’ve never been to.
A tip for international students – you should definitely have a ‘things to try’ checklist before starting university. And you should try to check everything off the list by the time you graduate! For example, scuba diving in the reefs, sky diving at the Yarra Valley, snowboarding at Falls Creek and surfing along the Great Ocean road.
I’ve almost checked everything off my list, and I strongly recommend that you do the same!
