Pascal: From school to university - Do what you're passionate about!

If you finished year 12 at the end of last year and are currently in your first few weeks of uni – congratulations! So the question now is what’s next for you? For those starting VCE, I’m sure this question worries you as well.

A lot of school leavers ask themselves this question in one way or another once they’ve completed their exams and during the (long) wait that follows while waiting for results. We all experience this process and we start to wonder what we really want to do in life or where to focus our attention.

My advice for everyone would be to do something you’re PASSIONATE about! A lot of us forget this and think that if we choose a specific degree or go into a certain industry, then the possibility of getting a job will be easier. Well let me tell you now, nothing is easy BUT if you do something you enjoy, you’ll be more determined to keep pushing forward. Don’t forget to aim high, and the hard work that you put in will bring you to where you want to be later in life.
