Katelyn: Halfway there!

I can’t believe we are halfway through the semester! It’s crazy that it’s Week 6 already; this semester has been going by too fast for my liking.

I’ve been busy working, studying and being involved in social clubs. It’s hard to balance all of these at times, but making a list of all the tasks I need to do and prioritising them does help me a lot.

It’s that time of the semester where I have to knuckle down and start working on my assignments that are due in a couple of weeks. The one major problem with this is that I have two group assignments due two days in a row, and finding time to meet with my group members is a little challenging. Don’t get me wrong, I like working with others but it can sometimes be hard with differing opinions, everyone’s busy schedules and the effort that we may or may not put in.

I must really love the challenge though, as I’m also involved in doing the Big Issue Big Idea competition, which is another group project. I think it really helps that we have been having weekly meetings at the same time and place each week - it’s good to have that consistency. Now I need to try and apply that to my other groups! Hopefully we can get sorted by the end of this week.
