Chloe: Take your mark...

No comments :
Cold wintry days, busy mornings, bad traffic and sleep deprivation - my somewhat usual start to a new semester. Although that might sound dreary and not so exciting, walking onto campus and seeing your friends after a month or so washes away all the pain of getting to uni.

Each semester brings excitement with the promise of meeting new people and widening your horizons. Although, in all honesty, the best part of the first week for me, is not having tutorials. It’s almost as though lecturers allow you to ease into a hectic schedule. Sleep is something I treasure, maybe a little too much, so I have no complaints whatsoever!

Despite the relaxing first week, second week is just around the corner and it’ll be time to hit the books for another 11 weeks. 11 weeks sounds like forever but trust me, it flashes past quicker than you know. It takes time to adjust to this format from the short nine weeks at school. But there's a bonus - uni students reap the rewards with a three month holiday at the end of the year. The hard work pays off in the end and yes, I know that is such a mum comment, but it’s the truth. You’ll see for yourself soon enough!

Get set, go!
